Сьогодні в Національній академії сухопутних військ імені гетьмана Петра Сагайдачного без перебільшення історичний день, адже на її базі відбувається виїзне засідання Військового комітету НАТО, яке, до слова, в Україні проходить вперше.
Для нас цей захід – чергове свідчення підтримки справедливої боротьби нашого народу авторитетною міжнародною військово-політичною організацією, свідчення, що ми не одні у боротьбі з російським агресором. А той факт, що засідання відбувається у стінах академії і Міжнародного центру миротворчості та безпеки свідчить, що наш навчальний заклад та підпорядковані йому військові організми – це невід’ємна частина міжнародного військового співробітництва.
В ході першого дня своєї роботи високі гості на чолі із Головою Військового комітету НАТО генералом Петром Павелом ознайомились із системою підготовки військових кадрів в академії, переглянули презентаційний фільм, оглянули навчальну матеріально-технічну базу та об’єкти інфраструктури академії, поспілкувались із керівним складом та науково-педагогічними працівниками академії. В заходах взяли участь голова Львівської обласної адміністрації Олег Синютка, міський голова міста Львова Андрій Садовий, глава Представництва, директор Офісу зв’язку НАТО в Україні Александер Вінніков, перший заступник голови Спеціальної моніторингової місії ОБСЄ в Україні Александер Хуг та інші високі посадові особи.
Також представники Військового комітету НАТО вшанували пам’ять випускників Національної академії сухопутних військ, які загинули в ході Антитерористичної операції на території Донецької та Луганської областей, захищаючи незалежність і територіальну цілісність України.
Завтра Військовий комітет НАТО продовжить свою роботу в Міжнародному центрі миротворчості та безпеки.

Today at the National Army Academy named after hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi is, without an overstatement, a historical day, as the NATO Military Committee retreat meeting at the level of military representatives is taking place on its territory, and, by the way, for the first time in Ukraine.
For us this event is an additional proof of support by the authoritative international military-political organization of the just fight of our people, a proof, that we are not alone in a fight against the Russian aggressor. And the fact that the meeting takes place within the Academy’s walls and the International Peacekeeping and Security center, testifies that our educational establishment and its subordinate military units is an indivisible part of the military international cooperation.
During the first day of their work the Dignitaries, headed by the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee General Petr Pavel familiarized themselves with the system of Academy military cadre training, watched a presentation movie, examined the educational material and technical base, as well as the infrastructural facilities of the Academy, have spoken to managerial component and the scientific-pedagogical staff. Head of Lviv Regional Administration Oleg Syniutka, Mayor of Lviv Andryi Sadovyi, Head of the NATO Representation and Director of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine Alexander Vinnikov, the First Deputy Head of Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug participated in the event.
Also the representatives of the NATO Military committee commemorated the memory of the National Army Academy graduates who have fallen during the Anti-terrorist operation on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, protecting independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Tomorrow the NATO Military Committee will continue its work at the International Peacekeeping and Security Center.
